The Occupational Health Center at SLAC is dedicated to providing outstanding clinical care to improve the health and safety of SLAC personnel. Medical services are provided by Stanford University's Occupational Health Center, under the SLAC ES&H Division.

Emergency 911
Call 911 for all serious illnesses or injuries including:
- Electric shock
- Heart attack (see SLAC Emergency Defibrillators)
- Loss of consciousness (if someone faints)
- Serious bleeding
- Difficulty breathing
- Broken bones
- When medical transportation is needed
After calling 911, call Security at 650-926-5555 for EMT response.

After-Hours Non-Emergency
The Stanford After-Hours Walk-in Clinic may be an option for those with care needs that are not life-threatening.
Stanford Walk-In Clinic
Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, no appointment needed
If you have a minor injury or illness and need non-emergency care, you can go to this Stanford-run clinic, staffed by ER physicians. This includes services for injuries and ailments, including strains and sprains, burns and wounds, and respiratory infections.

Getting There
Insurance Information
Most standard insurance plans are accepted. The Walk-In Clinic visit will be billed as an office visit (not an emergency room visit). Payment of a copay may be required at the time of visit. Hospital and professional fees may also apply for additional services, like medication/vaccine administration or lab/radiology services, among other procedures.
